Have you ever heard Jim Gaffigan's take on our strange holiday traditions? (If not, I've embedded it below, and you should definitely watch. You'll never look at holidays the same again.) Here's his take on Easter:
"Easter, that's a weird tradition.
'Easter, the day Jesus rose from the dead. What should we do?'
'How about eggs?'
'Well, what does that have to do with Jesus?'
'All right, we'll hide 'em.'
'I don't follow your logic.'
'Don't worry. There's a bunny.'"
You know, he has a point. It's kind of strange how we've chosen to celebrate Easter. So, here's an alternative from Emily Belle Freeman.
